Heffley Creek Hall Rental Rates

                      AREA RENTED

                 ALL rentals are DIY = DO IT YOURSELF
            YOU set up, decorate, take down & do full                            cleanup during these hours below:
                   Entire Building (no other renter)
  • Weekday (Mon to Thurs) = $45/hr for 4 hr minimum
  • Weekend (Fri to Sun) = $55/hr for 4 hr minimum
  • 4 hour Celebration of Life = $250
  • 4 hour children’s birthday party = $175
  • Service Club sleepover = $175 (5 pm to 10 am only)
               Hall Only (could be renter in Kitchen)
  • Weekday (Mon to Thurs) = $35/hr for 4 hr minimum
  • Weekend (Fri to Sun) = $45/hr for 4 hr minimum
       Kitchen only (could be other renter in hall) 

For small meetings or classes  = $25 per hour

 

                         Wedding & Receptions

Hall rental for a ceremony includes an indoor ceremony site with fairy lighted ceiling to floor white backdrop, wooden arch, ceiling drapery, chairs, Wifi and bathrooms.

Hall rental for reception includes the above plus rectangular banquet tables, and 3400 sq ft maple dance floor.

Standard (6am – midnight) – 18 hrs = $600

Silver (6pm Fri – midnight Sat) – 30 hrs = $800

Gold (noon Fri – midnight Sat) – 36 hrs = $1000

Platinum (noon Fri – noon Sun) – 48 hrs = $1300

Diamond (noon Thurs – noon Sun) – 72 hrs = $1800

Elite (noon Wed – noon Sun) – 96 hrs = $2400

 

Renter must purchase $2M Liquor Liability insurance if ANY alcohol is on our property and “All HCCRA members and directors” must be added as additional insureds (approximately $140) 10 days prior to event and proof emailed to booking agent. 

 
  Heffley Creek Community Rec Association Info

Thank you for your interest in renting the Heffley Creek Community Hall, which  is privately owned and operated by the Heffley Creek Community Recreation Association (aka HCCRA) and is a registered non-profit charity in BC and Canada. Your rental of the hall helps to support our income requirements necessary to keep this venue active and helps us perform upgrades continually. Further additional donations in support of our organization are also welcome and as a registered charity these donations may qualify for a charitable donation tax receipt.

Hall Rental Information

 
  1.  CURRENTLY ALL OUR RENTALS ARE DIY      (DO IT YOURSELF). For weddings & receptions we may have additional services coming soon and prices will be posted here – stay tuned!!
  2. To secure a booking we require a signed rental agreement and a $500 damage deposit – we can take cash, check or etransfer. 
  3. We cannot refund a deposit if your event is cancelled and is less than 6 months away because we held this date for you and turned away other renters.  Sorry, but no exceptions. 
  4. FOR EACH RENTAL: An in-person orientation is required the week prior to the rental; during this time we ensure your alarm code works and we clearly go over the cleaning expectations. 
  5. The full rental price is due ON or BEFORE the rental possession date and cannot be taken out of damage deposit
  6. We expect that you and your guests will treat our building and lot with the same respect and care that you do your own homes. 
  7. We do not have a janitor so each DIY rental requires you to leave the hall in a clean and rentable state.  If we need to do ANY cleaning (i.e. spot mops, clean or restock washrooms or garbage/recycling removal) funds will be deducted from  your damage deposit before it is returned. We supply all cleaning supplies, garbage bags, toilet paper and a dumpster. You must take your cardboard and recycling with you. 
  8. DIY RENTALS: A FULL CLEANUP includes: ALL Floors swept and mopped, all bathrooms cleaned & restocked,  garbages & recycling removed.  
  9. We have ladies in Heffley willing to do this full cleanup for approximately $200 – please ask for their info (price does not include dishes or linens).
  10. There will be no smoking or vaping within the hall or within 10 feet of a door. Butts must be put into a proper receptacle.
  11. RVs are allowed only in the south parking lot during your rental (absolutely NO generators) 
  12. Renters MUST provide and use tablecloths on all banquet tables (which are stored under the stage.) Renters must provide their own dish cloths and tea towels. 
  13. DIY RENTALS of OUR LINENS: renter drops and pays for a wash and fold at Thompson Cleaners immediately after the event; our volunteer must pick these up within 5 business days and before your damage deposit is returned. 
  14. The following items are prohibited at our venue: GLITTER, taper candles, inline skates, rollerblades, skate boards, long boards, hockey of any kind, pickleball, lacrosse
  15. Renters will be charged for ANY by-law complaints made during their rental.

  16. Upon leaving a DIY rental & cleanup, you must send a video of kitchen, bathrooms and hall to booking agent before leaving to verify the cleanup. No exceptions.
